Portable Dam (PD)®

Dam3 (Portable): An innovative project for constructing dams described as rapid (can be erected or assembled quickly within days or weeks) and robust in various waterways and environments, including marine environments. It is classified according to its structure into three types: open, semi-open, and closed.

It is also classified according to its operating method as hydraulic or static. It has multiple uses depending on its structure. It serves as a strong water barrier or dam, and in the case of open models (or those built on the riverbed), it can act as a submerged barrier preventing the mixing of salt and fresh water in rivers. It can also form a foundation for construction projects such as roads or buildings over water bodies, among other uses.
